Geoffrey wasn't quite sure if he wanted to stay here and potentially see more magic - or if he just wanted to go as quickly as possible. He felt so awkward and somehow ashamed to even be her; small wonder Maureen hadn't volunteered this year, though the biting books he'd heard about would put anyone off.
"Right-o, then." He thought about it for a moment. "Do you, uh, think we could see a little magic while I'm here? I know you can't do magic outside of school until you're older, but I should just...?" He believed everything his wife and son - and that man from the Ministry a couple of years ago - had told him, but he would have just liked to see it with his own eyes, just one time. "A little something?"
He paused for just a moment. "Of course, if we can't, we can't."
