We are Floo Network ("we", "our", "us", "the site"). We're committed to protecting and respecting your privacy, and to do that we'll outline what data we collect and why we collect it. If you have any questions, please do get in touch: contact us.

A username that you use to log into the site
Optionally, a display name to use around the site

How personal information may be used
If you register to the site and provide us with a username and email, this enables you to contribute content to the site, e.g. making posts.
We may use your email address if you have forgotten your password, for contacting you if you use the contact form, or to let you know about activity on the site if you tell us you want such emails.
Your IP address is recorded while using the site, especially while making posts. The IP addresses are only ever visible to the administration team of the site.
Other ways we may use your personal information As mentioned, we may notify you of activity on our site that may be relevant, e.g. messages received from other members, as well as occasional newsletters or announcements by email. You can opt in or out of these messages from your profile.
As you visit the site, we may also receive and record some additional information about you and your computer that should not be personally identifiable - for example, which browser you use and which device you're using. This should not be personally identifiable but may be used for analytics (e.g. knowing how many of our users all use a certain browser to identify what features we can add next)
Keeping your data secure We are committing to ensuring that any information provided to us is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable measures and procedures to secure and protect the information we collect.
Rights You have a right to access the personal data we hold about you and obtain a copy of it. Logged in users can obtain a copy of this information from their profile page, but it is always possible to use our contact form and request a copy of that data - contact us.
If you believe we hold data about you that is not accurate, please contact us with further information to get it updated. In many cases you will be able to do this yourself on the site.
You also have the right to request erasure of your personal data from our site. This will usually cover your account and data such as IP addresses - it does not usually cover posts as these do not generally contain personal information. For more information and to request deletion, please contact us.
We may also change the policy in the future - if this occurs, you may be asked to review and re-accept the information in this policy to continue using the site.
